Upcoming shows

So, after taking almost 5 months to sort out some things, write new material (an LP and a 7"), we are playing our first show back. It is the 2nd night of Braddock Fest featuring Converge, Burning Love, Trap Them, Kim Phuc, and Code Orange Kids. This show is going to kill, and we're really excited to be debuting some new material there. About half of our set will be brand new songs.  After that, we have Beartrap, Caulfield, Prosessions, and Code Orange Kids at The Helter Shelter in Pittsburgh on June 7th. Every band on that show is amazing, so be sure to check it out if you're in the area. Following that is June 18th with Brain Killer, Ratface, and Drug Lust, also at The Helter Shelter.

A couple weeks later we will be recording our LP, and another 7".  We are currently finalizing the songs, artwork, etc. for the LP, which should be out in the fall. We have been working really hard on these new songs, and it is without a doubt our best stuff yet.

We are also playing with our Cleveland buds Grin And Bear It on July 15th in Pittsburgh. Still working out the details, but it's going to rule. They are one of the best bands out right now!

Be on the lookout for more updates soon!

Updates....

We are just about done writing the music for our yet-to-be-titled LP.  We are really loving the way things are going, and we can't wait to get them recorded and play them live.  Here is a video from our fall tour kickoff show, where we opened with one of the new songs:

In the meantime you can check out our self-titled 7-inch here: http://heartless.bandcamp.com  If you like it, share it with people and purchase it from Halo of Flies, Tor Johnson Records, or Vinyl Junkie Distro. Our split with The Blind is available at To Live A Lie Records  or Suburban Mayhem Records for people in Europe.

As if this entry didn't already have enough links in it, here is a review of the s/t record: http://www.nuthousepunks.com/blog/?p=1956

Tour recap and other shit

We just got home from tour last night, and it went pretty well overall.  Thanks to all of the people who made it a blast:  Our dudes in Regrets from Chicago, Adam Walker and The Dojo, Mark at the Lemp Community Arts Center, Cory and the Unit 21 dudes, Parker from Humanerror and family, Trailer Space, Titus at Vinyl Junky, Matt and Johnny from Little Rock,  Jonah and the Sugar Shack for putting together a kick ass last minute house show, Jesse and the Little Hamilton Collective, Anthony from Kentucky, and Jacob from WV. Thank you to anyone else who helped us by booking a show, giving us a place to sleep, or just coming to a show and watching us play.

We have a split 7-inch with The Blind from Ireland which will be available the first week of January on  Suburban Mayhem Records. It features four old songs recorded in 2009 that were never formally released, so we are excited to finally make those songs available on vinyl.  I will also be updating our online store (http://heartlesspgh.bigcartel.com) with leftover tour shit and the split once it arrives.

Other plans for the near future include recording a demo of new material, writing a bunch of new songs, and finishing our LP.  We are going to chill out from playing shows for a while to focus on getting the LP done. We might go out for some weekends here and there, but we don't plan on playing out much for a while. Until then.....
